The Hywl Ceremonies wedding ceremony package includes the following elements:
* As many consultations as you both need to discuss the initial requirements, get to know each other and to start making plans for your ceremony.
* I’ll send happy post to you, each with a mission – your answers are a way for me to get to know you both, your families, your love story and any other details for your special day
* I’ll help you to write to your personal intentions to one another
* I’ll then capture all of the details and create a bespoke script for your ceremony.
* We can visit the venue together and do a rehearsal (extra fee for this bit!)
* And on the big day, I’ll be there in plenty of time to sort out any last minute bits and pieces and get ready to deliver your unique ceremony – at your time, at your pace – never any rush – on the day I only care about you!
* This bit is important: Please remember, for a marriage to be recognised in law in England and Wales, a legally-binding ceremony, commonly known as a ‘registration of a marriage’, MUST take place. The Gov website is a useful tool to explain the requirements. This is a discussion topic which is very detailed. I can help explain in more in depth, and of course your venue co-ordinators will also offer advice from their extensive experience of hosting ceremonies at the venue).
* Your service can include a beautiful memory. Choose from the ancient tradition of a Celtic handblessing, secret ring bearer and secret witnesses. And we can mix a cocktail or have a nice glass of fizz or even a shot of tequila!
* If you’d like a commemorative certificate of the ceremony, that can be created as a memory of the day (remembering it’s a non-legal document!)
* You will receive a copy of your script and your personal intentions. And after the wedding, I’ll bring you all of the ceremonial elements which I will have kept safe.
* And I’ll be there with expert advice and consultation every step of the way.
My fees includes travel up to 25 miles from my home in Neath, South Wales. If you’d like me to travel a little further afield, that’s no problem but I would need to add an additional travel fee using a set mileage rate as advised by HMRC. Any overnight accommodation required (if I can’t get to you and back safely within a day) would also be an additional expense.

If you’d like me to stay around as an MC (that’s Matron of Ceremonies) I can do that for a modest extra fee. I’ll work with your photography team and the venue co-ordinators to ensure that everything happens at the right time. I’ll announce you as a new couple to your guests, co-ordinate the speeches and get you set to cut your wedding cake and hype up the guests for your first dance.
